Prof. Dr. Hany Moustapha

Prof. Dr. Hany Moustapha,: Professor and CEO, Innovation SDGTM Network and Aerospace 4.0TM, Siemens’ Chair on Industry 5.0 Technology Integration, Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) Chair on Propulsion System Design École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), Québec University, Canada, Director, Knowledge and Technology Transfer Center, Galala University, Egypt. With P&WC from 1978 to 2010, Dr. Moustapha was Director of Technology, Collaboration and Technical Training Programs for P&WC from 1999 to 2009 and was named P&WC Senior Research Fellow in 2011. Joined ÉTS in 2010 as Professor and Director of Aerospace Programs (AEROÉTS). Dr. Moustapha is the Canadian industry and academic member of NATO’s Aviation Technology since 2000. Dr. Moustapha is the founder and cofounder of the Montreal Aerospace Institute (MAI, 2001), the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Québec (CRIAQ, 2002), Aero Montreal Cluster (2005), the Green Aviation Research and Development Network (GARDN, 2007), etc. He is a keynote speaker at various international conferences and forums on aviation, technologies of aircraft engines, and the various technology and skills challenges of the fifth industrial revolution “Industry 5.0”. He is the author and co-author of over 100 publications and two books on gas turbines and the recipient of over 30 national and international awards, including the following: Québec most prestigious Grand Ambassador of the Montréal Congress Center (2024) and Chevalier de l’Ordre National (2013), Montreal Inspiration and Research Award for top five aviation experts (2013), ASME Board of Governors Award (2007), Ryerson University Honorary Doctorate (2005), Concordia University Teaching Excellence Award (2002), Canadian House of Commons Award for outstanding academic and professional achievements (2001), etc. 

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abd Elaziz

Mohamed Abd Elaziz received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer science from the Zagazig University, in 2008 and 2011, respectively. He received Ph.D. degree in mathematics and computer science from Zagazig University, Egypt in 2014. From 2008 to 2011, he was Assistant lecturer in Department of computer science. He is associate professor at Zagazig university, Egypt. He is the author of more than 200 articles. ABD ELAZIZ is one of the 2% influential scholars, which depicts the 100,000 top-scientists in the world. His research interests include metaheuristic technique, security IoT, cloud computing machine learning, signal processing, image processing, and evolutionary algorithms.

Prof. Dr. Hossam Osman

Prof. Dr. Hossam Osman is the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Innovation and Scientific Research fostering innovation-driven impact of higher-education and scientific-research institutions on Egypt's prosperity and economic growth. Dr. Osman is a member of the National Council for Artificial Intelligence developing and supervising the implementation of the National AI Strategy.

 

Dr. Osman has over 35-year experience as director, consultant, researcher, instructor, and developer in IT and software engineering. His experience is divided between industry and academia, private and governmental organizations, small and national-level projects, and domestic and overseas companies.

Dr. Osman received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 1985 and 1990, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from Queen's University, Canada in 1996. His Ph.D. thesis was awarded the Engineering and Applied Science Outstanding Thesis Award by Queen's University in 1996 and he was selected as Ontario's best post-graduate student in Computing by the Canadian Advanced Technology Association (CATA) in 1996.

Dr. Osman was the ICT Minister Advisor for Technology Innovation, Training, and Electronics, and VP of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), mandated by supervising the Digital Egypt Innovation Centers Initiative, the Egypt Makes Electronics Initiative, the Egypt FWD Freelancing Initiative, and the IT Academia Collaboration (ITAC) Program. Dr. Osman's industrial experience includes working in Lucent Technology in USA, and local Egyptian companies as Nile Online, Data Management Systems, and ASSET. His academic experience includes working in Canada in Queen's University and the Royal Military College, and in Egypt in Ain Shams University and in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. Dr. Osman received many international certificates from prestigious entities as MIT, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon in technology innovation, entrepreneurship, ICT service management, and software development, and published as Principal Author in reputable journals as Neural Computation, IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, and IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics.

Eng. Ahmed Salama

Eng. Ahmed, a seasoned IT executive with over 25 years of experience, currently serves as the Solutions Director & Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Egypt. As the country leader for digital transformation and AI, he excels in driving technology-enabled business transformations and advising clients on innovative approaches that drive business value. With a strong track record in leveraging intelligent business solutions, analytics, and AI, Ahmed is skilled at translating complex ideas into compelling narratives for CxO’s. His expertise includes harnessing cloud computing and AI to deliver tangible business value and lead enterprise solutions.

Ahmed spent most of his career outside Egypt where he had different leadership responsibilities covering financial services, public sector, manufacturing and retail. In 2020, he returned to Egypt to directly contribute to the country’s digital transformation.

Ahmed, fluent in 3 languages, graduated with a bachelor of engineering from the American University in Cairo with High Honors and is holding an MBA with distinction from Maastricht School of Management as well as a diploma from London Business School.

Eng. Sherif Elnaggar 

Sherif Elnaggar Head of Customer Service , Digital Enterprise Manager , Head of Engineering Siemens Digital Industry - Egypt Sherif started his career with Siemens in 2009 as a Senior Service Automation Engineer. His responsibilities varied between Project Management, Maintenance, Engineering , Designing, Commissioning and Startup of Automation systems in industry sectors. He was involved in different retrofit & upgrade projects and Education projects with different governmental universities in Egypt. In 2015, Sherif took the responsibility to lead the Customer Service & Training Business across Egypt in the industry sector. During his 15-years tenure at Siemens, he has held various positions in the Service, Engineering , Training and Project Management fields. He is currently assigned as Siemens Digitalization Ambassador to promote and spread the digitalization knowledge across Egypt and help to transform the industry towards Industry 4.0 Sherif was born and lives in Cairo. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Cairo University – Faculty of Engineering Electrical Power in 2005. Sherif , is MBA holder from Edinburg Business School, Certified Project Management” IPMA” and a Certified Siemens Programmer. His passion is to drive digital transformation for industry in Egypt to become globally competitive. He believes that the innovation and the new vocational and engineering education system is the key for a brighter future of the industry in Egypt.

Eng. Nesreen Sharaby

Nesreen Sharaby is the Chief Data & AI Architect and Data & AI Technical Leader of IBM Technology Egypt. With a distinguished career spanning 18 years, Nesreen has been instrumental in driving digital transformation initiatives across diverse industries and geographies.

Starting her journey at IBM in 2005 as a Software Engineer, Nesreen has progressively ascended through roles in software engineering, system design, project management, systems consultancy, and unit management. Her extensive experience encompasses large-scale applications, enterprise integrations, and data analytics projects.

A Certified IBM AI Engineer and a Certified Open Group Architect, Nesreen's passion for data science ignited in 2012, leading her to pioneer the first Data Science practice at IBM's Global Delivery Center in Cairo. As the Data Science Practice Leader, she has dedicated herself to nurturing a new generation of data scientists, empowering them to deliver groundbreaking data science solutions.

Over the past 12 years, Nesreen has spearheaded the design and development of numerous AI-powered digital transformations for global government agencies and enterprises in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. Her expertise lies in leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to optimize business operations, enhance decision-making, and accelerate growth in today's competitive landscape.
